Glad I've just invested in a new push bike, the cost of running a car is ridiculous; servicing, MOTs, fuel, tax, insurance, petrol.

Anyone want to buy a H reg Renault 5 with no MOT? £100

How much petrol is in it?

The worst thing about it is the double whammy effect that its costs us more to fill our cars to get anywhere, then more to buy essentials like food beacuse it is all transported at least some of the way by road.

So the essential costs of getting to work and eating go up and there is fuck all we can do about it. I appreciate that international oil prices are not labours fault but adding anymore duty to fuel right now is fucking insane.

The current exchange rates, with oil being paid in dollars has been a factor in the rise in prices for
all of us.Whilst the Government will be happy to see increased tax revenues,we cannot understimate
the role played by the speculators. They keep the prices high and have done so for a long time,it
isn't a case of increased and unsustainable demand.I'm sure you remember the stories of tankers off
the Dorset coast? They are still there my friends, all manipulated by the speculators.

My YP railcard has run out, so either driving or training it home for Easter next week from uni is gonna cost me a small fortune then. Magnificent.
