I used to know the Shoreham and Worthing area quite well when my sister lived in Findon.
All of her children were born at Shoreham hospital.

We used to take the children for walks to the top of Chantarbury Ring, with great views
accross the south downs and we'd pass by the race horse trainer Josh Gifford's stables.

Fuck off Mex Shoreham is a prick-filled place...  I hate the phrase Adur...  Wtf is that supposed to represent?  It's all about Crawley - a lovely town full of respectable people...

Sorry to hijack the thread a little but...  Mex any suggestions for Thursday?  Planning a mad one in Brighton but have the girlfriend's mum in tow, so can't be full of smashed 16 yr olds (as per my usual haunts.....)

Surely you are on a wind up with that statement!  Its alright if you fancy a curry i suppose

Yeah, although I do love Crawley, just for it's location.  It's a shame it's full of tossers.  I've just landed a fantastic flat at a bargain price - really really nice and a stone's throw from the town centre, me and the missus cannot believe our luck.  It's just a shame some of the others who've moved in treat it like a squat...  One set of pricks downstairs has covered one wall with posters.  Grrr.

Haha trust you Mex...  Nah you wouldn't want to!!   Grin

What a glorious little place...deliver to Brighton and Worthing regularly but was in Shoreham yesterday delivering timber,,right on the old wharf on the estuary that meets the sea.
Had my break there and watched the little fishing boats chug back to the quay...seems they mainly had cockles/mussells on board..its a lovely area and it was the first time i had actually been to Shoreham.
Brightons ground at Falmer is starting to take shape...it looks impresive being overlooked by the Sussex Downs.
Also a bonus that the sun was shining...hope i get down there again soon..Shoreham that is.

The Green Jacket - Used to drink in that pub sometimes in Shoreham.
