I can see why your frustrated but I still think that theres really no need for calling him a 'cunt' and all the rest. He did miss some sitters, but every footballer does. I know it was a really important game and all that, but its not like he intended to do it was it ? He gave it a shot, maybe he panicked under pressure? who knows?

The reading thing, he was just being a good sport to his old club - people are taking it too seriously really. Say if ipswich got relegated, and we went up and parkin came back and celebrated with us just to be a good sport , same thing? We would'nt be complaining. Stop looking into it too much. Your making out he's a sly toe rag when you don't really know him!

When he said he was too good to play in league 2, He's right. He was being honest. yes it was a snotty thing to say and I was not too happy when I heard it but any other footballer like him, they would be thinking it even if they did'nt say it like he did.

Cheesy  I would rant on about people critising iffy too, but I'll leave that for another day I think.

if he's too good to play in league 2, we wouldn't have been relegated.

we can't afford passengers next season, especially those who won't be committed enough to work hard. next year is going to be about hard graft, not midgets poncing around the pitch.

Bollocks. He like the rest of the team have contributed to us getting relegated. If he thinks he's too good for league 2 he should watch some videos of himself. I tell you, I wouldn't give a fuck if the whole squad fucked off (Peacock and Evans excluded). Not one if them gives a fuck.

He's scored 14 goals this season though not 7. You can't just ignore all the goals he got for Colchester.

I expect he'll be leaving anyway.

I can ignore them and I shall....he has scored 7 goals for us, which isnt good enough

Yes  Well said. We need people like Peacock and Lucas J. They'll fuckin sweat and work hard for this club. I don't think Mr Cureton would.

Yes he has missed chances, but come on be fair to the guy. King didnt give him a hope in hell of scoring goals by playing him in a system that did not work. He went off to a team playing well and was banging them in.

Came back here and everybody was happy because he ws scoring goals. All of a sudden he had a bad patch, we realised he was the only one who was going to get goals and all of a sudden people have a go at him!

He is the best striker at this football club, no matter whether he is arrogant or whatever, and as long as he is scoring goals next season I am happy to see him here.

he could be a key player next season for us though. i think he will score goals in league 2 for fun

thats pretty much what we all said in August, but with league one instead of league two.

For a player with Jamies ability, a goal return of 7 just isnt good enough at all....he should be the first one to tell you that

your right DV i must agree. although it wasn't his fault he was played on the right wing under king or as a long striker meant to latch on to long balls and at his height thats just plain stupid

If Colchester had not gone up I think they would have come in for him like a shot and he would have gone like a shot.  As it is, I think they will be setting their sights higher now they are in the Championship.

Maybe they will go for Parkin   (I only just thought of that).

If he does stay, Cureton and Peacock ought to be the best strike partnership in the league by a mile I would have thought.
