Title: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 19:05:42 A new series starts tonight - anyone going to watch?
I will be - because love them or loathe them there are bound to be some right idiots on there, only too ready to make fools of themselves all in the name of ambition. Not sure how successful all of the previous winners have been - we never hear much about them. New format this year too - the winner does not end up working for Lord Sugar (he will always be s'ralan to me) but gets money (a quarter of a mill) to start up their own business. From what I've read the teams have to make as much money as they can from some fruit and veg in tonight's episode. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 19:08:26 I'll watch it. Whoever the men's project manager is will get fired, they always do. The men spend the first week having a testosterone fuelled shouting contest whilst the girls get along, and then a few weeks later the men have all calmed down a bit and the women all hate eachother.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bogus Dave on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 21:03:39 That's what I imagine every accountant in the country is like on the inside, and why they get hidden away, lost in a world of spreadsheets and debit accounts.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: tans on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 21:08:26 Ooh si pie will be pissed at you dave ;)
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bogus Dave on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 21:17:16 I'm kinf of serious though. Just in my brief experiences, it seems to be the type of thing that people just fall into because they have no fixed idea of what else they want to do before it's too late. And as such spend a lot of time trying to prove, to themselves more than anything, that they are more than just a number cruncher, because they don't feel a great emotional attachment to it (I'm not saying this is every accountant ever, just in my limited experience it seems to be the case more than in other professions.)
It's like when goalkeepers at sunday league / youth level spend every moment they can trying to go up front. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 21:35:14 All I can say is, don't any of you dare tell me the sky's the limit when I know for a FACT that there are foot prints on the moon 8)

Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Panda Paws on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 23:02:30 We're just going to roll with the punches
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Simon Pieman on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, 23:24:04 That's what I imagine every accountant in the country is like on the inside, and why they get hidden away, lost in a world of spreadsheets and debit accounts. Pretty much nailed on that he was doing auditing most of the time. No wonder he lost the plot. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 07:19:47 I'll watch it. Whoever the men's project manager is will get fired, they always do. The men spend the first week having a testosterone fuelled shouting contest whilst the girls get along, and then a few weeks later the men have all calmed down a bit and the women all hate eachother. You were right then Nemo. Actually you could tell from the first 5 mins that he would be the one to go. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: tans on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 07:31:44 Yeah he was a total prick
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: sheepshagger on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 07:50:33 Loved his comment in the boardroom - "I am the youngest AND the shortest here" !!!
So fucking what you plum ?!? Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: jimmy_onions on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 08:15:02 He was a total prick but it was good viewing...who you you rather watch each week, a loose cannon like that where you don't know waht you are going to get, or the boring Orlando Bloom lookalikey who spouts the normal shite in the boardroom, e.g. I know I can sell Lord Sugar, I have my own business Lord Sugar, I can make you loadsa money Lord Sugar....yeah yeah yeah what- fucking-ever....keep the loons in I say..
Oh and also, I know its the nature of these sorts of 'reality' programmes that go on beyond their sell by date, but they get more and more removed from reality...some of the patter they come out with now about how driven and successful they are is absurd...I dunno whether to laugh or cry. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 10:02:32 As with every first episode the main aim is to identify the biggest arrogant tosser, it seems to be the Zlatan Ibrahimovic bloke to me at this early stage
Looks like a poor turnout on the girls side, only really saw one bit of blonde fluff to possibly perv over. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Barry Scott on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 10:24:22 I love this show. I always watch You've Fired! over on BBC2 after because you get to see a different side to the loser. He was a strangely funny and very dry bloke. Shame he left. Zlatan seems like some sort of new Baggs and will no doubt add his own brand of

With the name of Ed Hunter, you'd think he was better cut out for a career in recruitment. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: axs on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 15:46:31 He just seemed a bit thick to me. As someone posted earlier, the PM on the blokes team always seems to go first.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Jean-Francois is God on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 15:59:15 Good solid start to this series. Ed Hunter didnt really have a clue what he was doing and brought it all on himself although he came across quite well on BBC2 afterwards. Personally I enjoyed last series' "who's doing the mincing".
I was a little bit sad with the lack of talent on the female side of things, certainly nothing like the beauty of Liz Locke this year. Also, perhaps the reason why N'Diaye was shite for us was due to the fact of the pressures of appearing on The Apprentice and having to calculate the price of a fruit salad. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: THE FLASH on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 17:55:28 Didnt like the black bird who was in charge of the costings.....the others will annoy me in time.
Nick was back doing his Charles Hawtry impressions...excellent... I think you will find it hard to beat the 'field of ponies' prick from last series.... Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, 17:58:35 Another episode on tonight, a double dose of twat to start the series.

:hmmm: Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Arriba on Friday, May 13, 2011, 08:06:08 liked how jim chose who was going back in the boardroom with his jedi mind trick.
melody is quite tidy too. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: MichaelPook on Friday, May 13, 2011, 12:12:28 Jim is ace - an Irish charmer!

I also think Zoe's pretty good, well, before last night anyway!
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Thursday, June 9, 2011, 08:39:52 Tom is the only one I'd hire, but I suspect that means he won't win. Pretty much every week he's told the PM what they have to do to win, and every week he gets ignored. No doubt he'll be fired for "Failing to put his points across strongly enough" or some such bollocks.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: herthab on Thursday, June 9, 2011, 08:43:23 I was willing the irish guy to start something with the builder last night.
Would've loved to see him get a hiding! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Thursday, June 9, 2011, 11:08:16 Tom is the only one I'd hire, but I suspect that means he won't win. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: DA15red on Thursday, June 9, 2011, 18:21:28 Tom would be a decent employee but not a self employed businessman. Did you see him (and the other retards) clapping and cheering when they were offered £350 for the desks? A bit hard to barter the bloke up if that is the reaction!

Yes, I was thinking they wouldn't be much good at poker ::) Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: reeves4england on Thursday, June 9, 2011, 23:52:12 It's been pretty entertaining this year. Glad Edna finally went - the things they were saying about her were definitely true. Very willing to try and self-promote without really ever doing anything useful.
A couple of the girls are starting to get found out now. Zoe got a bit lucky this week. Although I disagree with what people have said about Susan. She is irritating and comes across as a bit whiney, but at the same time she does contribute a lot and when she's in charge she does a good job so fair play to her. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: DV on Friday, June 10, 2011, 16:19:42 Susan will win!!
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Coca Fola on Friday, June 10, 2011, 16:25:44 I think Jim will win it, although it's probably fixed anyway.

Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Friday, June 10, 2011, 16:46:34 It'd be fair to say there is a massive lack of totty this year.
Although my housemate is very keen on Jim, so clearly it's just a bad year for women. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: PocketScience on Friday, June 10, 2011, 17:18:34 It'd be fair to say there is a massive lack of totty this year. I'm yet to find anyone more annoying than Susie Ma though... If she says "that's so unfair" one more time then I'm going to request a gagging order! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: OOH! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Thursday, June 16, 2011, 06:24:36 I really hate it when they've been fired and they say "Thank you Lord Sugar"...that's not going to make him change his mind, you've been fired, just get the fuck out of there!

I am hoping one day that one of them explodes in a Newcastlefanesque style foul mouth tirade, tips the board table over, says **** off to Sugar and storms out, probably against contract though. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: LucienSanchez on Thursday, June 16, 2011, 07:57:55 Last night was a brilliant opportunity to get rid of Susan... not only is she annoying as hell, she was the weakest link in a task the other week that was basically her day job (cosmetics). She offers nothing. I disagree to an extent. She is annoying, and the cosmetics task was poor, but in a number of the tasks she has pointed out obvious flaws which have turned out to be key points in the failure of the teams. Her problem is she's not forceful enough to make the others listen. Sugar has apparently identified some potential otherwise she'd have gone by now The other two were more likely to be fired. I just hope they're keeping Jim in for the interviews. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bogus Dave on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 21:08:18 How the fuck is Tom still in it. Seems like a nice bloke, but utterly useless at everything
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: herthab on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 21:08:31 Hi ho the bitch is dead! That's exactly what I was thinking! I actually punched the air when Sugar binned her. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 21:11:16 How the fuck is Tom still in it. Seems like a nice bloke, but utterly useless at everything Eh, I think he's one of the better ones. He actually generally knows how to win, just isn't shouty/angry enough to get it done over the others, if he was in charge, that wouldn't be a problem. Natasha is properly useless, more bluster than anything. Helen seems nailed on to win, certainly until tonight but I really can't see anyone else winning, he went off Jim too early. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bogus Dave on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 21:13:25 Never says anything at the time though. Whether that's because he's timid or because he's a great user of hindsight. Sugar bums him because he's an 'inventor', though what he's supposed to have invented is anyones guess.
Jim or Helen in the final. Am I right in thinking there's 3 weeks left? Next week, the interviews and then the final? Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 21:15:27 Sounds about right. I believe he invented a curved nailfile. Make of that what you will...
Plus, he's a MechEng alumnus from Bath, so you should totally be on his side. I'm not sure if that make him any cooler, but I doubt it. Haha, fucking hell. He's stretching that achievment a bit. I know a couple of MechEng undergrads, and they are all insanely dull. Genuine question, when women want to get stern in business do they purposely put less make up on to look more fierce? Noticed it today with Natasha and Helen. Is it a genuine tactic? Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 21:26:50 No, I think Melody just used all the eyeliner in the house.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, 21:28:10 Is Melody the most annoying person ever? She has to be in the top two or three I think.

This was my favourite episode in a while, a task more akin to a business scenario and only one person out of the lot understood what it was really about (or listened). Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nomoreheroes on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 06:11:38 The worst thing about Melody was the permanent scowl she had on her face.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: DA15red on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 07:16:05 £250k is not much stake money when it comes to setting up a business. I suspect Tom has a good product or business model that is ready to go whilst Sugar knows most of the others will spunk the money up the wall in quick time. Maybe that is why he has given him so many chances? Helen is good but it would seem to me that a £250k start up is too small time for her.

He's giving him every chance. I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for Susan who got a rough deal from that idiot Natasha. Also don't think Sugar likes that Natasha. you could clearly see that from his reaction to her and docking them £100 Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: jimmy_onions on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 09:24:57 how natasha has got to the last five is a masterclass in bullshit over substance...however I guess it reflects working society since I suspect everyone knows someone who is in a high postion based on nothing more than rhetoric and hot air...we never know...it may be one of us?!
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 14:57:43 Relieved to see the back of Melody - did she EVER shut up?
If it had been the other team that lost, then Natasha would have been my choice, as others have said - how the hell has she made it this far? And neither of the team leaders really knew what the task was about. I'm surprised at Helen though - she didn't really have the right idea, going to retailers rather than the general public. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: betty_swollox on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 15:47:04 Melody was by far the hottest contestant though. I have a school boy level crush on her.
They might as well just sack Tom, Natasha and Susanne now and just get to the final. Although saying that they do always throw a suprise in there so I wouldn't be suprised to see Helen not make the final. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: axs on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 15:52:26 I think susie is more likely to get to the final than Helen.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Mplanney on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 16:09:12 I believe the final is different this year, It will be the final 4, with the interviews senario
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 16:09:42 Presumably the interview style stage will actually revolve around their business idea as well.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Doore on Thursday, July 7, 2011, 18:07:13 I would like to put my thing in Melody. And Susan. And Natasha. And, with some beer first, Helen.

Natasha 4. Susan 5. Back to Melody 6. Helen 7. Wouldn't even kiss Brady, I strongly dislike her too much (was taught to never say I hate someone I have never met) 8. Tom and Helen looked like they were doing quite well...then they packagaed Gravy and Mash in a CARDBOARD BOX. Seriously, where do they get these people? Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: herthab on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 21:12:42 Don't they usually have the interviews to get down to the final 2? Couldn't belive Jim's team didn't even think about margins and profit. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: LucienSanchez on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 21:13:18 I've had pie, mash and garvy in a box at festivals, Lord's, and all sorts... it's not that uncommon/stupid
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bogus Dave on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 21:15:39 The final is on sunday - not sure whether it'll be an extended episode or not.
Dara O'Briens 'how to win the apprentice' type thing on friday is down as the 13th episode of the series. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Abrahammer on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 21:32:29 Tough to back Jim any more after his maths meltdown.
Got a feeling Suzie might nick it, knows how to setup a business. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: betty_swollox on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 21:34:34 Yep pie and mash in a box is amazing. Pieminister or Pie Squared at Glasto.
The right person went....think she should of went about 6 weeks ago. 'Did anyone order a final four!'....fuck off Jim you crazy Irish fool. On the clip for the final Lord Sugar points to his right at the winner. Might not mean anything but Jim is sat on that side on the clip of them entering the boardroom. Also all the clips they play show the interview people calling someone a bullshitter, which is to get everyone thinking that must be Jim, the producers always do try to throw you off who has won. Probably means nothing though. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, 21:38:25 Got a feeling Tom will win it. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nemo on Sunday, July 17, 2011, 18:47:06 Final tonight, and as far as I can tell it seems to be the interview stage from previous years except with business plans instead of CVs.
Expect Helen to have a fairly dull idea very well planned, Tom to provide almost the exact opposite, Susan to bang on about how great she is at selling skin cream and Jim...well, fuck knows. Maybe he'll propose the drilling of a massive borehole so he can actually attempt to sell fire to the devil? He's probably on first name terms with the fella anyway. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Batch on Sunday, July 17, 2011, 18:56:21 I think Susan will win, but I find her intensely irritating and not at as high calibre as you'd expect for a winner.
I'd love gift of the gab Jim to win. Unfortunately I think he'll get torn a new one at business plan interview stage. So in summary. Jim falls short outside sales. Helen is too safe. Tom is too risky. Susan wins by default. I'm off to watch Top Gear. Rowan Atkinson SITRPC apparently. Unusual for him to do an interview if that's true, though there is a new Johnny English film out soon. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Arriba on Sunday, July 17, 2011, 19:01:26 I think Tom will win.

And the backside of all backsides! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: leefer on Thursday, March 22, 2012, 20:13:53 Sugar, Champagne Socialist. I just can't take him or this program seriously. You are not meant to,but i agree Fatbasher, not my cup of tea either. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Arriba on Thursday, March 22, 2012, 20:14:23 They were all just very average! I saw Melody from the last series or maybe the one before walking through Paddington station the other day ... God she had a seriously tidy figure on her .... And the backside of all backsides! That melody was fine. That aint the bird you dated is it ;) Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: fittons_coaching_badge on Thursday, March 22, 2012, 20:15:40 That melody was fine. That aint the bird you dated is it ;) I fucking wish! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: THE FLASH on Sunday, April 1, 2012, 15:45:46 The fucking Irish bird grates on me like parmesan cheese.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Arriba on Sunday, April 1, 2012, 15:46:51 The scottish bird is the one i'd currently like to bang the most.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Sippo on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, 21:07:18 Bit rubbish that JGIAA went tonight
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Devizes_Red on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, 21:14:30 I am with both Flash and Arriba with their thoughts on this.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: THE FLASH on Saturday, April 7, 2012, 16:05:31 I am with both Flash and Arriba with their thoughts on this. It's genuine .......Jen u in......and not fucking Jen u ine..... Why has our tv been invaded by fucking paddys? It's as much a foreign country as poland is and you wouldn't get a jam roll on the apprentice would you?? Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 06:49:55 Is it me, or do the women seem a very weak bunch this year? That painted furniture was shite.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: fittons_coaching_badge on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 07:08:13 The women are dross both in terms of their business sense and their looks.
Though the men ain't much better. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Berniman on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 09:18:00 Thank god that bitch has gone! She reminded me of a Catherine Tate character.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: TheMajorSTFC on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 09:19:33 Thank god that bitch has gone! She reminded me of a Catherine Tate character. didn't see her smile once, good riddence!!that yorkshire bird next for the chop as she's useless and has a horrible accent! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 10:07:59 Thank god that bitch has gone! She reminded me of a Catherine Tate character. I thought that as well strangely enough.Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: LucienSanchez on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 10:08:56 Hmmm... I actually thought she was quite hot!
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 10:17:31 She reminded me of Lesley Joseph.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Devizes_Red on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 10:45:31 Thank god Sugar booted that Irish bint off. I think she was the only woman on The Apprentice that has ever made me angry. That Scottish bird is sexy and she knows it.
That fella who was arguing over 25p deserved one hell of a slap too. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Abrahammer on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 12:17:48 She reminded me of Lesley Joseph. She was a wierd crush of mine as a young teenager when she played that dirty slag Doreen, knocked a few out with her as the inspiration I feared that fit team leader was going but good to see Sugar was thinking about the ratings. The cockney and Matt Ritchie's brother are right tools Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Coca Fola on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 12:44:53 Hmmm... I actually thought she was quite hot! Same.Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Coca Fola on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 12:45:34 She was a wierd crush of mine as a young teenager when she played that dirty slag Doreen, knocked a few out with her as the inspiration You mean the Northern bloke? He looks more like Paul Scholes than Matt Ritchie I think.I feared that fit team leader was going but good to see Sugar was thinking about the ratings. The cockney and Matt Ritchie's brother are right tools Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 13:57:59 Out of the women I reckon the only prospective winner is the one who drew the designs for the kids merchandise. I think it was her anyway, Jade Nash.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Baggins on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 14:02:19 My money is on Dwayne.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Abrahammer on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 14:23:24 The young bloke who was the winning team leader seems quite clued up
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Devizes_Red on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 15:30:18 Dwayne is the spitting image of Daniel Sturridge whilst that northern girl reminds me of Gary Neville.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Coca Fola on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 15:34:08 that northern girl reminds me of Gary Neville. In the looks department or the way she sounds?Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: LucienSanchez on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 15:34:19 I think Gabriella could be quite good, but at the moment she seems to be trying too hard, and as such putting herself on the line needlessly.
The young lad who PM'd last night did really well, could go far. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Devizes_Red on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 15:47:32 In the looks department or the way she sounds? I think it is a bit of both to be honest. I can just imagine her with a dirty tash trying to explain why Vincent Kompany should be trying to hold a tight offside line. Ricky is also a cross between Wayne Rooney and Andrew Strauss. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: oxford_fan on Thursday, April 12, 2012, 16:59:23 The young bloke who was the winning team leader seems quite clued up It says he's a wine trader, and he always looks as though he's recovering from a heavy night with those red eyes. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Ginginho on Friday, April 13, 2012, 14:42:53 Quote of the episode from Duane:
"There's quite a famous saying: Never look a gift horse in the eye". Genius. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: TheMajorSTFC on Friday, April 13, 2012, 18:43:22 Quote of the episode from Duane: "There's quite a famous saying: Never look a gift horse in the eye". Genius. Quality quote, however nothing on the Lee terradactyl sound, that was hillarious in front of that big boss in his 'interview' hahaha Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: fittons_coaching_badge on Friday, April 13, 2012, 21:29:59 This series has just been a bit shit so far
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 05:13:08 The sooner that Steven twat goes the better. What a tossed. Mind you, think they have all been pretty poor this year. Anyone spotted the winner yet? Tom or Gabby for me.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bennett on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 05:55:37 The sooner that Steven twat goes the better "no chin" is such a bellend. when anyone has a justified pop at him in the board room "stick to the facts" or "concentrate on your skills". i'm looking forward to next weeks just to see how much he fucks up Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Forza_Swindon on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 07:35:09 The sooner that Steven twat goes the better. What a tossed. Mind you, think they have all been pretty poor this year. Anyone spotted the winner yet? Tom or Gabby for me. My thoughts exactly - though I think Nick might run those two close as well... Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Arriba on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 08:27:05 I like Adam the best but don't think he's nasty enough to win.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: TheMajorSTFC on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 09:13:00 "no chin" is such a bellend. when anyone has a justified pop at him in the board room "stick to the facts" or "concentrate on your skills". i'm looking forward to next weeks just to see how much he fucks up Can't wait to see it either, this guy is a wanker and his best skill is deflecting in the boardroom. I haven't seen him really on any tasks and all he does is moan! I think Tom is looking like a good shout at the moment! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bob's Orange on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 10:38:39 Can't wait to see it either, this guy is a wanker and his best skill is deflecting in the boardroom. I haven't seen him really on any tasks and all he does is moan! I think Tom is looking like a good shout at the moment! Did anyone see when the PM (I forget his name) brought back him and the annoying Lancashire woman back? His facial reactions reminded me of David Brent as if he was totally shocked that he was coming back. He is crap, no idea how he has lasted so far! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Paolo69 on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 10:46:16 Think he's won 6 out of his 9 tasks. Probably goes some way to explaining why he's not gone yet.
I'd like to be on his team next week though. Even if you lose you have a week's amnesty from being fired. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Bob's Orange on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 10:51:00 Think he's won 6 out of his 9 tasks. Probably goes some way to explaining why he's not gone yet. I'd like to be on his team next week though. Even if you lose you have a week's amnesty from being fired. He has been carried a lot of the way I reckon. If he loses next week, he's toast! Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Baggins on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 12:17:00 My money is on Nick. Weirdly I really really liked Jenna - in the naughty way - and I really can't explain it.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Abrahammer on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 12:21:44 The unknown is what their business plans are. I seem to remember last year the bird who was clearly the best candidate had a shit business idea which gave the title to that Inventor Tom bloke
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Baggins on Thursday, May 17, 2012, 12:22:20 The unknown is what their business plans are. I seem to remember last year the bird who was clearly the best candidate had a shit business idea which gave the title to that Inventor Tom bloke Tom looked like Wally from Where's Wally? Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: TheMajorSTFC on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, 21:08:42 Well for a minute I thought goggle eyed chizzle chin was going to get away with it but he's gone! Thank goodness for that!...'Steven, you're fired!!!'
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, 09:55:21 There's at least a couple more left who I don't regard as worthy winners.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Abrahammer on Monday, June 4, 2012, 00:01:44 I thought Tom would win based on the tasks but I didn't understand his business at all so couldn't judge it. Ricky's business plan was generally accepted as the best so not shocked he won.
That Jade was gone as soon as she first mentioned a call-centre. Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Coca Fola on Monday, June 4, 2012, 00:02:29 Nick should have won.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Abrahammer on Monday, June 4, 2012, 00:07:58 Nick should have won. Pretty poor business idea I thought Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Coca Fola on Monday, June 4, 2012, 00:09:28 It was innovative, I know loads of people who would use that sort of thing.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: Coca Fola on Monday, June 4, 2012, 00:41:22 If I was on there my idea would be scented grenades. You throw one in a room and bang, nice smell.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: SuggWillSugg MBE on Monday, June 4, 2012, 01:12:58 I personally thought Nick's idea was best too.
Title: Re: The Apprentice Post by: cheltred69 on Monday, June 4, 2012, 08:30:55 Idea was certainly the most innovative of the lot but I couldn't really see it building into a multi-million pound business.
It looks as though he wasn't able to convince Sugar or his henchmen about that either - should probably have focused more on the market research and revenue generating plans than the technical details to win this. |
