Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: adje on Monday, January 5, 2009, 23:00:21 That Mason is a remarkable kid
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: chalkies_shorts on Monday, January 5, 2009, 23:02:51 The script has been written and he's playing his part to perfection. It would be a better story if he could turn it around and be a role model for younger players going off the rails. it seems now that he has no purpose in life. Most of the people he's surrounded himself with have been nothing more than leeches.
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: strooood on Monday, January 5, 2009, 23:08:36 This is getting really, really odd.
They're plotting how to break into his room. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Danjackson10 on Monday, January 5, 2009, 23:26:20 bit of a difficult watch that one!
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Lumps on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 00:05:42 The whole show looked horribly exploitative to me. I couldn't stand to watch it.
Seeing that Bianca one launch of fucking media career on the back of taking the name of someone she previously did nothing but slag off makes me want to puke. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Don Rogers Shop on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 00:43:45 What makes me puke is everyone rallying round saying how we should all help and the fa should step in yet when its someone else other than gazza they can rot. Growing up gazza was my idol and i can relate to his troubles but he needs to realise the world does not owe him a favour and face up to his problems. Until he actually wants to sort it out no rehab or family threats will make any difference at all.
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Nomoreheroes on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 06:46:08 the guy is in a proper mess! does not stand a chance really! So so sad....addition at its worse.....problem is its continually being fuelled. Could be worse - multiplication is bad but division is a nightmare! As for subtraction, thats a real bastard!Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: pauld on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 09:05:05 I think the Israelis should start bombing Gazza
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Danjackson10 on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 09:21:51 I think they already are paul!
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: THE FLASH on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 09:26:13 Best quote:
"George Clooney called me up and challenged me to a game of darts". Very very sad...... he needs alot of help. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: ronnie21 on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 09:49:21 So it wasn't about Gary Stanley then? Gazza out!
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: THE FLASH on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:25:07 Best quote: "George Clooney called me up and challenged me to a game of darts". Very very sad...... he needs alot of help. Second best quote: "Malpas will take the Swindon up!".... Poor sod is beyond help... Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: ghanimah on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:30:01 I thought the programme was exploitative, that seemed to be neither in the interest of Gazza or the children. I turned it off half-way through, very sad
I never get enough of seeing this though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvyd7oSESgw Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: STFC_Gazza on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:35:41 So it wasn't about Gary Stanley then? Gazza out! haha ace! Didn't see this but wanted to, forgot about it, Clearly wasn't worth watching though. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Peter Venkman on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:39:15 It was very upsetting, hes is so obviously very mentally disturbed, bi polar....OCD...Alcoholic...the bloke has no chance of ever making a full recovery from all 3.
I have friends with all of those but no one person has all 3 of them at one go, hes on a losing battle with life. Very very sad indeed, poor fucker. I remember hearing first about his OCD when before the Scotland game in EURO 96 they didnt play the 3 Lions song on the coach on the way to the ground and Gazza refused to get off the team bus until they put the song on for him....then he went out and played a blinder. Hugely flawed talent, such a shame. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Rich Pullen on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:40:28 I thought the programme was exploitative, that seemed to be neither in the interest of Gazza or the children. I turned it off half-way through, very sad Exactly the same. I remember watching that Alan Hansen documentary about life after football and there was a ill looking Gascoigne late 30's/early 40's on an exercise bike talking about staying fit and finding a new club - I don't think he ever officially retired. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 10:46:42 He makes me SO angry - every since I read his autobiography Ive always thought he never tried to help himself - even when his addictions etc seemed to be under control his so called freinds like Jimmy 5 bellys etc will be the death of him - what he puts his family through, It made me so sad - Cheryl deserves a medal - she has never been able to move on the poor women - the way Regan is as well - god it was such a sad programme it made me cry
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: juddie on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:05:07 I'm with Rich on this one, I thought the programme was totally exploitative - whether he agreed to it or not, what has that served to prove other than he has issues and that his family has been messed up by it.
I do wonder about sheryl's motives in it all, but I found myself really liking his eldest son - he seemed the only one to have his dad's best interests at heart. poor show from channel 4 for stooping so low. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: pauld on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:07:22 poor show from channel 4 for stooping so low. Yes, you'd expect better from the people who brought us Big Brother, Wife Swap etcTitle: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: herthab on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:09:43 Yes, you'd expect better from the people who brought us Big Brother, Wife Swap etc That made me smile. The state of tv in this country is at an all time low. Cheap programmes, aimed at brain-dead viewers. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Samdy Gray on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:10:41 Cheap programmes, aimed at brain-dead viewers. On the up side, the new series of QI starts on Friday. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: herthab on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:12:47 On the up side, the new series of QI starts on Friday. Hurrah! Obviously there's a few exceptions, but most programmes are pure drivel. Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Peter Venkman on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:17:36 Agreed!
Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: Peter Venkman on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 11:18:00 Yes, you'd expect better from the people who brought us Big Brother, Wife Swap etc All programs for the hard of thinking! Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: juddie on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 12:27:04 good point well made Paul!
At least Shameless is good! Title: Re: Gazza Programme Post by: axs on Tuesday, January 6, 2009, 16:34:24 Theres a whole thread on this we established it is the palestinians fault If Gazza Strips I'm blaming them. |
