Depends on my mood:

New York Fairy Tale when I'm pissed.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas when pissed on Xmas Eve walking home
When getting pissed at a Party, has to be Slade.

I hate

All of Cliff Richard's

that song about wish it could be Christmas every day! (Wizard/Roy Wood)

East 17 isn't really a xmas song, there isn't anything xmas about it, apart from being number one.

I want to add

Christmas rapping by The Waitresses

and

Rocking around the Christmas Tee by Ted Chippington and (I think) We've got a Fuzzbox and We're Going to Use it, (and maybe a whole load of other people from Vindaloo records that I can't remember)

I'm hoping someone like Mex or Yeovil will remember this one as it's possible I'm just imagining it.

Good point....strangely contradictory, how a bunch of wannabe thugs could pen something as angsty sensitive as this.

I didn't have a traditional Christmas last year and this year will be similar although it should be better. Christmas can be abit of a nuisance!

True, but they usually do it in a brutal fashion.

Given that love can be simulated by taking certain narcotics, and these thugs were (in)famous for taking said narcotics I find it no surprise. Quite a few of their songs are tender.

Embarrassingly, I fucking love East 17.

Hmm...I don't detect any irony or sarcasm there, so...

It's ok John. I do too.
