When the first series came out, I thought it had to be a wind-up that such annoyingly stupid people get chosen - many years on, I'm coming to the realisation that "business" is full of these people so it's just a very accurate depiction of the workplace if everyone lived with their work colleagues.
So very true. In my business I need to know what people earn to arrnge a mortgage. I never ceased to be amazed at the huge salaries get & wonder how the hell they manage it. The best case was some one who was a PR officer for an NHS trust working part time 24 hrs a week & getting just shy of 50 k for it. |
