also noticed on that thread mention of a tube strike that day...cant see anything on t'net though.

It's not a tube strike as such, but a strike by the engineering train drivers. In other words, it'll only affect lines that would have been closed anyway.

There are no important tube closures on that day, except maybe the very top of the Metropolitan line being closed

millwall are hoping for the greenman again as it was very good there last time they went. hopefully we'll be allocated that seeing as we're that side of the ground

I rang them yesterday and they said that they wont know until monday what fans they will be serving but they have told the met that if it's Millwall they won't be opening.
