I take it this will be pay on the day, not seen anywhere that it's all ticket?  Same with the Tranmere game, going to both but not got tickets?

Probably bit early to say but based on the potential size of away end i'd imagine you will be able to.

Tranmere 0% chance it will be all ticket for us. It's certainly my plan to pay on the night

It depends who owns the stadium, though.

They've gone from Highfield Road, which was a stadium they owned, to the Ricoh, which they don't !!

I think that could be possible but it will need a new manager to be in place by then (for the fans momentum to gain sufficiently with the appointment of a good manager) and I can't see that process being rushed TBH.

I think between 1 and 1.5k is more likely but am happy to be proved wrong.

The away end can hold up to 3k, with a further 2-3k if required (I remember Leeds taking 6k and West Ham taking 5k over the past few seasons). I presume tickets are still available until we sell as many of the 3k as we can.

would guess Sheffield utd brought about 1500 (pretty certain the biggest away crowd In the league , brum brought about 4k I'n the league cup ) ! As you can imagine with the stadium usually only 1/3 full the atmosphere can be pretty poor so the thought of you bringing around 2.5 to 3 thousand should liven things up ! If we can get some sort of result at Bournemouth tonight can see the shrewsbury attendance being beaten ! Enjoy your trip to the ricoh Saturday !

That wasn't an away match though.  It was play-off final at a neutral ground so would have been beaten by the PO finals at Wembley.

I reckon a fair few will pay on the day, not just cos i'm one of 5 doing it, but everyone has known there will be thousands available on the day, so no pressure buying in advance.

Expecting to see a few on the Euston express.  Can't wait after this evenings news

Leon is on fire at the moment to be fair, 9 in 12, 5 in 5 last away games, and 20 for the season. Starting to adapt more to our style of play and beginning to work harder for the side. All in all a good league one forward oh and will most likely score if we do!

Clarke has scored 20 goals this season. Ok, he acted like a dick when he was here, but perhaps if we had a bit more of a tolerant manager, we could have been enjoying his goals. Seems managers in this league can get the best out of them.

I expect him to score on Saturday.

It's strange, he's scored consistently since he left us yet has still played for 5 different clubs in that time. Clearly a good goalscorer at this level but the constant movement suggests there are some personality issues that outweigh his contributions on the pitch.

Or as SY more succintly put it, he is an absolutely massive cunt.

Clarke played the full ninety minutes as Southampton knocked the Town out of the Carling Cup in the Second Round - but as he left the pitch, the new Town striker was seen arguing with fitness coach Claudio Donatelli. As di Canio approached him with a consolatory arm, Clarke pushed the Town boss away as he continued to protest about the training regime - when the pair eventually got into the tunnel, television cameras captured pictures of an altercation in which it appeared that punches were thrown. Clarke made his way back onto the pitch, where he spent fifteen minutes talking to chairman Jeremy Wray before leaving the ground in full kit. After the chairman backed his manager, and TV footage proved di Canio's side of the argument, the Town boss was quick to state that Clarke had played his last game for Swindon - revealing that the striker had told his agent that he had wanted to leave two days before the game, and though he had seen Clarke's bad attitude first hand since he had signed, he had looked past it in an attempt to integrate him into the squad.

He didn't like the training at the club, specifically the large amounts of running. I guess he felt Donatelli was an easier target than Di Canio.

If you believe some rumours, he wasn't the only one unhappy with the training.

Games played midweek in the afternoon cos there was no electricity for the floodlights.

40 50 is poor by any standard of football.

Clarke had his issues at swindon but unfortunately we never get to see the full story, similar one with us, when we had Bellamy, he was dire and a right c unit but went on to bigger and better.

Clarke will give your defence a game tomorrow no question about it especially when you lot try winding him up.

Are you saying you genuinely didn't know about Clarke?  Unless you didn’t read a paper, watch any form of sports news, listen to the radio, lived on the moon, I don’t think you’d have missed it.  At least you got people to explain when there was really no need to.

After reading your posts from the last two days, I’m pretty sure you’re just an attention seeker.  And it seems to be working for you, as proved by me discussing you.  Anyhow, you're back. Most are now aware of this.

Me too. Was an absolute classic, coupled with the fact that i didn't know the time of the last train off South Bermondsey so was bricking it that i might be standed while extra-time and pens was being played out. I can think of a few nicer places to spend the night.

A little over 10 years ago, but I was at this game where the away attendance was given as 111...beating (or not beating) your total by a single supporter!

Sorry Visočan, my fault.  I should have stayed at home, and then the best Ardiles could have done is equalled you.  It was a shit game and we were all in the one stand, too.

I doubt there were many Town fans at this game in 2005. Total attendance of 958

Quick question, is there a limit to the pay on the day or have we been given the full 6000?

Dave was clearly mesmerised by the fact that THREE Saint Kitts & Nevis internationals played that day.

Ugh. Not with it.

There was a massive Caribbean feel to that game by the looks of things

hoping to get up there around mid day so will go with the flow. A few cans on route and hope to get into a pub with enough staff serving behind the bar for a change.
