So, would you say no to Rix if he came with Hoddle as Dir of Football, a whacking big cheque and access to players who have been at or are now at his Spanish academy?

Forget the paedo bit.

You'd be left with Rix in charge of the day to day running of the first team. That would be a disaster.

Then you'd potentially have Glenda pushing him to instil his academy players into the first team at the expense of developing our own talent.

The whole thing would end in tears.
