As expected Hodgson gets the Palace job.
If they remain consistent he could be gone in 3 games given their upcoming fixtures after today's defeat.

Quite unusual 3 managers sacked on the same day so close to the season start. Chairmen seem less tolerant of poor starts to a season now.

Lucky escape for Birmingham when one considers A'rrys record of managing clubs and them later suffering financial problems....

TBF an awful lot of Brummie fans wanted him to stay and stick with it.

A lot of their fans on their forum seem to want the wurzel nutter Cotterill to be next manager.

Paddy Power have Ugo Ehiogu at 66/1 for Birmingham job, as he died in April, that might be fairly poor odds

They could do a lot worse.

Wonderful textbook example of corporate buck passing there. Hold two dubious at best enquiries into complaints of racism, then mysteriously find something entirely separate to fire him for that they'd also known for three years when the media pick up on the story. Most surprisingly of all, this isn't any of the FA bigwigs fault according to er... those same FA bigwigs. It would be funnier if they weren't in charge.

Must be a bit awkward when he's got to step out of the changing room when they are getting changed and he's in the middle of his team talk
