Death by a thousand cuts, eh?
I think we all just want the 'coup de grace' though - For Power and not the club!!

I’m intrigued as to where any credible information, cited by some on here, could come from. The players and staff will either be in the dark or furloughed. Even if staff do have information they want to pass on to fuel the rumour mill, I’m not even sure they would be privy to what is actually going on between Power, his advisors, and whoever may or may not actually be talking to him about a purchase (ie ABLE).

There is a perverse irony that the club has been charged by the FA, yet somehow LP passed the FA's fit and proper persons test.

I wonder if he would ever pass this test again, given all the shenanigans of the last few years?

Credit to Power, he’s been able to fleece the club for nearly a decade but every dog has it’s day and it’s starting to feel like the noose is starting to tighten.. Really worried that Power would rather send the club into insolvency and bankrupt it than let anyone find all the dead bodies. Without a doubt, if given a chance, he’ll be on BBC Wiltshire saying ‘Look Shaun....’

Time is running out, the pressure is building.. How far will it go? Do a Charlton, storm the boardroom and sit in protest until Power has gone.

That’s the problem with shenanigans. They invariably come to light when it’s already way too late.

Gut instinct said Power was a wrong ‘un from the outset.

I have a feeling that we won't see a public appearance from Lee Power again. Not even via a court case.

Sheridan I hear is available for keynote speeches though...

Yeah, I think I know where that excerpt is from.

I bizarrely had a request near the beginning of this year to get a quote for both Nigel Bond (Snooker player) and John Sheridan to appear at a dinner. Got the quotes but was then requested to get specifics on breakdown of costs.

They still haven't been forthcoming, yet sent me a chase email to ask if the client was still interested in booking John and/or Nigel?!

Sounds about right!

I always find the pricing incredibly random! You can probably get someone like Pat Cash for £700 and he'd probably be much more interesting as well as relatively "clean". Yet fucking Nigel Bond & Shez combined for around £8.5k. Fucking hell.

One would probably be found in the gutter throwing up the free bar and the other would be in bed for 8pm. Enthralling.

Taxi!

There might be if there was such a thing as "the FA's fit and proper persons test". There isn't. There is a Football League Owners and Directors Test and a corresponding test in the Premier League. Neither has ever been administered by the FA. Both should be. Therein lies the failure. Equally the ongoing failure of fans to understand the regulatory regime of English football (and the gaping holes in it) is why we continue to allow this shit to happen.
