Charlie Griffin scored his first goal for Town. As someone who saw him play a good few times for Chippenham, it was a good moment.
Great goal aswell. I think we won 2-0.

Swindon v Leicester Wembley 1993. Back in the day when we could win at Wembley. Fantastic day and great atmosphere.

My first game I can actively remember going to was against Atalanta in the Anglo Italian Cup in 94/95, we lost 2-0. I may have been when I was younger but can't remember. I don't recall too much about the game really, but did go to a few games in the league cup run that season including the semi final at home to Bolton. My first away game was WBA away in 96/97, we won 2-1 and I scored the winner (look it up for those who know me!). I thought I was quite lucky because we won the first 3 away games i went to, but now I know that was just a fluke!

Late 80's ('88 or '89) away against West Ham in the FA Cup replay. I had moved to Swindon the year before and only went to the game as my mate was a Hammer. Didn't go again until the following season, when Ossie was appointed and from then on (Apart from an enforced absence in the late 90's and early noughties) I've been pretty much a regular.
My mate has a lot to answer for...

1993/94 Swindon 3-3 Norwich in the premiership Remember sitting on the terrace bars on the Stratton bank
I remember that game well. I had a Norwich supporting friend along from university in our section of the Stratton Bank. Got quite heated between our fans and theirs towards the end. Good game.

Don't remember, for some reason though I have Luton in mind .
I was stood in the old Shrivvy road stand with a school friend not far from the Town End, which was then given to away supporters. That's about all I can recall.

Would have been 93 or 94 then, we only gave the TE to away fans for 1 season when I was stewarding the TE but can't remeber what year it was TBH.

Can't have been JJ. I was there for the full 92/93 season.
Might have been 91/92

Wigan at home in the 87 playoffs for me. 0-0, dont remember much except town fans walking down queens drive in their droves. Stood on Stratton bank with my dad. Would have been 7. First away game was vale in 89. I think we lost 2-1.

Unlikely to have been Luton then mate as we didnt play them at home between 74 and 93. We only gave the TE over to away fans the year the Intel stand was being built which was in 94-95.
