A bit later Beales in town....interestingly that's now got a street name where it used to stand before all was flattened.

Didnt know about that in Drove Road Reg,can you remember the lush grub at Nottons Cafe ware Rudis is now,and Nottons on County Road.

I recall Notton's Cafe in County Road much better than the Town Centre variant....which I recall best as Long John's Pancake Kitchen.  Which I guess was an effort at a sort of crepery in Swindonia....it was never going to last  Smiley

yep......where Dave Sharland's place is now(another local footie principal)

Known Andy Notton for Donkeys

They still have an interest in Rudi's I believe
Correct Fred, was actually working in there yesterday and my paperwork was signed by Mrs Notton!!  Her husband, Paul, is now back at work there after having a quadruple heart bypass!

My mum used to work in there back in the cafe days. Paul's daughter Harriet (who is a fox) works in there now as i think it's still their business.
