It's the games you have to think about as well, have heard that PS5 games will initially be around £70 - £80, whether that's true I'm not sure..
I can see them being that expensive. Who knows. I don't need many games. Give me a game like COD MW and that will keep me occupied for months. Hopefully they will do similar to PS Plus and give you some freebies every month.

Not sure if been mentioned on here but I know a few of us were talking about Death Stranding (Console Release) a little while back. It's out on PC July 14th. So PV, you may be interested. Likely better waiting a while until the price comes down though. Few nice pre-order goodies however; https://store.steampowered.com/app/1190460/DEATH_STRANDING/

I am still contemplating getting RDR2 on PC but the price puts me off, I would prefer to try before I buy TBH even if its just a small part of the game.
Death Stranding looks interesting mate, not heard of it before.

Yeah I am not up to date on fairly recent releases, I don't play a massive amount of games lately I am getting a lot of vertigo and motion sickness that stops me playing 1st person games.

Basically it's Paper Boy meets MGS. If you played and enjoyed the puzzle/problem solving elements of Metal Gear then you'll likely enjoy this. The Paper Boy part comes from the main character role, to deliver packages. It's a post apocalyptic/pandemic world but it goes deeper. Some may find it slow going early on as you really have to build your character up but there is a great storyline which is acted pretty well too. Mads Mikkelsen is well Mads Mikkelsen and doesn't disappoint as a CGI version. As FH said, surprised you hadn't heard of it or even seen it talked about on this thread (albeit only a few posts). I think you might enjoy it.

If a post is more so about PS4 or Xbox then I instantly pass on by never having owned either platform, could be cos of that maybe.

I've been playing the remake of Resident Evil 2.
I'm not the jumpy type, but it's made my heart fucking leap a few times.

I have been playing the last of us 2, it is really good; my only complaint is that some of the cinematic cuts go on for ages and you can't skip them, even though they have nothing to do with the story.
I am also loving NBA 2k20 which is also one of the free games of the month for July on PS4.

Absolutely loved the Res Evil version on GameCube. For the time, that console was so way ahead of anything else in terms of hardware. In fact it was so ahead that a lot of developers, instead of working on the superior tech, chose instead to do rubbish ports or even skip it. Losing Rare didn't help matters though, as they were one of the few that could really work well with the GC. Nintendo themselves didn't help matters on their own software end. Others though, knew they had easy gigs with the Sony PS2 and the then new Xbox. The biggest issue was implementing an online service but as a standalone console, everything was pretty innovative about it. We could probably even say that the GC was like a concept console that went into production. Shame really (online element) because even though the GC sold a lot less units than Sony and also Microsoft, it was a bloody good console and incredibly underrated.
