Im more concerned as to how Connell fits into the equation
Connell could not have done any more to bring himself back in to contention during the last few weeks. His attitude has been spot on...and has been since he joined (it's just he's finally now getting some recognition.) But I think it's OK to have 3 or even 4 in form strikers vying for the 2 places in the starting line up. What I do now want to see is some clearing out. Interesting one, this. Feels very Beauchamp/1994 (even though he went via West Ham). Time will tell, I guess. Another thought is that we seem to be more predatory in the transfer market now than at any other time I can remember. It's all very un-Swindon.

There'll be a few leaving the TEF now, as di Canio was one thing, but a scummer something else altogether.

if it's true that Magera was offered in part exchange, we know just where he stands. We know where the roof stands also.
Connell will get games. PDC likes him and will pick him to start the games when he is the best peg to fill the hole.
Wonder if Bodin may still go back to Torquay on loan though.

bear in mind this came ONLY from one quote on one Poxford forum, no other source so they may be putting 2 + 2 together, Easyjet would be a more likely probability.

I'm actually liking the prospect of having Constable playing up top for us. He seems a bit Billy Paynter/Sam Parkin esc (On the little I have seen of him....he's probably nothing alike...), and I think things will work really well between him and Connell/Benson, especially with the amount of crosses we pump into the box from either wing.
Exciting times, should he sign.
Fair play to the board for stumping up the cash for both him and Roooooooonaaay, it has to be said!
Hopefully we can offload Kerrouche before the month is out, as well as Esajas, then I think we're looking pretty good.
Timlin, Clark, Evans, Lanzano and Comazzi out, with one or two others to follow, and Constable (Potentially), Benson, Foderingham and Rooney in. Not a bad bit of business, that. Tidy

When Poxford signed Mooney they gloated like there was no tomorrow, so it's completely hilarious for me that we've (probably) signed a 'prized' striker from our hated promotion rivals. I'll be making the most of it.
