Aye...

Then it was your fault I got totally smashed that game. Any drinking involving you and Blackpool Red always ends in tears...........hence should be avoided.
Was the the time Stan Bowles came in the pub we were drinking in ?
I think it could have been.

Everything is always my fault...or at least that's what Mrs Ghanimah tells me. I do believe it was regarding Mr Bowles. I had trouble procuring matches at the bar iirc because they suspected (quite rightly) they were being used as a form of gambling...

Think it was also the first point we picked up post Kingy after losing the previous 8.

Didnt fallon miss an absolute sitter in front of the away end that day?

My memory is hazy, probably due to being wankered

Here you go Hitchin. Was this game.

You've a better memory than me but remember Close more then Marwood for some reason even though he only came on for the last 20. £10k attendance at Brentford too. Blimey!

That's the one. It was my first visit to Griffin Park which is a surprise considering I'd been in London since 1986.

Looking at the forecast it seems extremely unlikely that this will be on.

Shame, as I was really looking forward to it and we don't really need another Tuesday game towards the end of the season.

Tuesday looks fine at the moment, no real danger of this being off

Do any of you older Town Fans remember Brentford away in May 1979 we won 2-1 with Mayes & Miller the scorers and the attendance was over 13,320 with at least 4-5000 from Swindon. This is the season where we had the big games with Swansea & Watford and just missed out on promotion right at the end of the season
