I don't understand the people who say they can't blame him for leaving considering our owners etc. He knew every little detail about what Power is about and is very close to Jewell who also knows exactly how the club is run.

He jumped ship instead of trying to prove himself so for that reason can get fucked in my eyes

I suspect that will be dependent on the extent to which beggars can be choosers.

According to the Adver, Neville told him to ditch possession based football and go more direct.

He refused, so kudos to him to sticking to his views.

I know a bloke who likes direct football.

According to Nixon who broke the story,

Salford are going for Gary Bowyer.

I am glad it didn't work out for him at Salford but would have him back here tomorrow without blinking.

I wouldn't. Didn't start our campaign off very well this season.

I would too Berni. He'd be an instant upgrade on what Town currently have. I say this even if we have a slight disagreement or angle on whether or not the stars aligned favourably in part for RW just over a year ago.

I still stand by that. Not in totality I must stress, I think it is important that part is understood and not taken out of context. I think he had some luck and some great management too. As I opened with, he'd be a much better appointment than El Dino.

It would also still be quite hilarious if it happened  Wink

So, if you’re Clem/whoever and have just taken control of the club and want to make a statement of intent and maybe get some brownie points with fans, would you try for Wellens?

Fuck no.

I'd be more concerned about staying in L1, and would fancy my chances better if I went for somebody who was not already struggling earlier this season with a better squad.

I did mean after this season had been decided. I think we have no choice now but to stick with Sheridactyl.
