Queens Park Rangers are hoping to boost their defence by acquiring Sean Morrison of Swindon but face a battle with Newcastle and Sunderland for the highly rated 19-year-old.

From BBC today. Would be a good move for him if he got the first team opportunities.

only if we have a replacement lined up, and by that I don't mean Lecs. I think every player has a price, but it depends what we have in mind to replace them. there weren't any suitable centre-backs around in the summer, so I doubt they'll be many around in January.

If a deal to bring a player with more experience who might have played at a higher level and who has a few seasons in him, then yeah - it could work. The board and wilson need to work out whether or not a) 400k is enough and b) if we can get a replacement.

I suspect not.
