Would we get 400K from a tribunal, when a lot of the player's formative years were spent at Argyle?

Not sure it really makes that much difference as he's been here since he was 16, so four years next summer. Imagine it is still a case of a bunch of dodgy blokes coming up with a figure over a few pints and cigars in some swanky members only club. Can't see it ever going to a tribunal though, Fitton would sort a deal out before hand rather than throwing his toys out the pram and demanding some stupid amount.

Think £400k is a fair price considering he was a back up player last season.  Needs to have 2-3 good seasons behind him before you can start saying hes worth more then £1 million

Lukas is doing ok for himself. It didn't work out at Everton but he knuckled down and he's at a higher level than Swindon right now

400,000 is a lot of money for a 19 year old defender who's never played above league 2

We'd pay £250k (or more) for a young player with potential and that's for players with a handful of games, sometimes only at League One level. So in comparison, £400k for a young player with a fair few games behind him that a Premier League team thinks has got potential to step up is fuck all.

But it's less than Everton had to pay for a 16 year old last year, who'd not played league football...

Damn, he is largely proving me wrong this year too. He has had the odd duff game but he's really come on.

He'd be a mentalist to go. Sure there is the £££, but his career would suffer arrested development.

Be good idea to invoke that clause now and get him on a longer deal. Let's just hope it's all pie in the sky

Fact is he is under contract...........i would rather we keep him untill the end of his contract.

What the fuck good is 400k to us...............rather have him here and if he wants to go for nought so be it.

Been fantastic this year and to be honest in my opinion has always done a good job for one so young............so lets keep him here and get the best out of him untill his contract ends.

I really don't understand why these rumours appear at this time of year. The transfer window doesn't open til January. He's never in a million years going to be allowed to go on loan.

not a player i can see newcastle taking a punt on.certainly not for the money some of our fans think he's worth.newcastle aint exactly spalshing the cash on players either.
they have to try to stay in the top flight this year.if he were to go it would be for the future.no way would he get a game at the moment.
