The BBC are in trouble again, this time for broadcasting a Tweenies episode with a Jimmy Saville impersonation....

Bit of an oversight by the bbc not checking old programs. But most kids won't know who he is or what he's done, so little harm done.

Shame that will end his career, always enjoyed his summarising/commentating on Five Live.

Does make me wonder how after so long they can be certain enough to charge him.

Easy...because he has admitted it.

I had heard he had pleaded not guilty when arrested originally too.

I too was wondering how they could make such a charge stick after all this time.

Maybe he did in those cases.....sadly there seems to be many cases.....for this to be in court so quick suggests to me he admitted the rape.

Without commenting on the charges, I genuinely loved Stuart Hall's match summaries, even though you found out bugger all about the game. They will be missed.
