Facebook group watch......

"Steve Cooper has left Forest wonder if he would ever come hear"

Maybe they are confusing him with Mark Cooper, but he wouldn't come back, Yeovil have a competitive transfer budget.

Ouch. Not on a good run and the steaks are high I suppose. Think he's half decent though.

Think Palace have been interested in him for awhile but assumed (rightly) he wouldn’t last much longer at Forest so rather than pay the compensation for someone likely to be sacked they bought Roy out of retirement as a stop gap.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Cooper rock up at Palace shortly to work along side Roy for the rest of the season to fully take over next season.

Forest have had a shocker here, they would probably end up regretting all this in the long run if the current bottom 3 weren't so bad

Deeney will be a terrible manager.

Except on 29th, obviously.

He's not overly popular at FGR: https://forum.fgr.co.uk/post/is-deeney-still-here-12795871

Deeney will be a terrible manager.

Based on what out of interest? Clearly nobody knows but I assume he's done his badges etc?

Is it because basically he's going in 'cold' and without working alongside someone with experience for a few years etc?

His massive ego.
He also has a habit of slagging off his ex teammates, I can’t imagine his man management would be great.

He once told one of his clubs he wouldn’t sign a new contract until they got rid of the speed bumps on the drive into the training ground because it was ruining his sports car.
The blokes a fucking idiot.

Having an ex-striker hardman who's a bit of a character went so well for them last year after all.

He also feigned a 'knock' just last week so he didn't have to go to Scarborough in the FA Cup but instead could cover UCL game on TNT instead. Knocked cleared by the Saturday funnily enough.

Salford sack Neil Wood
TBH getting beaten 5-1 at home to a very poor Tranmere side was definately the last straw.
