It would be a right kick in the nads, if Morrison moved on for big bucks and we got fuck all, due to the circumstances of his contract.....I wish I could find some evidence, even in the Adver, that we've actually got a sell on clause for Austin.
I know its not been in public at all but here is one link that states about it, no idea on the truth behind it though.

A bit tenuous...I'd prefer something a little more concrete.

FWIW i do remember Fitton saying that several clauses had been added to the contract but did not state exactly what they were. Similar to when Simon Cox left us he put in several clasues there too.

But I am pretty sure that Fitton will have added some kind of sell on clause because he was a pretty astute businessman.

Agree that it would seem likely...but those were strange days. Morrison's agent seems to have outflanked our negotiating team, so maybe Austin's too....

Only Arsene could be impressed with a defender in a game that finished 7-5!

Sorry still a bit sceptical.... however it does remind me of this semi classic thread....

http://thetownend.com/index.php?topic=23212.0

Over 5 years ago now and just before the takeover from the current lot.....which must be about due a 5th birthday, we've not exactly progressed in that time on the pitch, but certainly off the pitch, for which we should be grateful.
