It would be a right kick in the nads, if Morrison moved on for big bucks and we got fuck all, due to the circumstances of his contract.....I wish I could find some evidence, even in the Adver, that we've actually got a sell on clause for Austin.

FWIW i do remember Fitton saying that several clauses had been added to the contract but did not state exactly what they were. Similar to when Simon Cox left us he put in several clasues there too.
But I am pretty sure that Fitton will have added some kind of sell on clause because he was a pretty astute businessman.

Agree that it would seem likely...but those were strange days. Morrison's agent seems to have outflanked our negotiating team, so maybe Austin's too.... |
