Because I’ve spoken with many players, his social life playing golf with them says otherwise and reactions to him scoring says different. There’s plenty wrong with this club as you know and Charlie Austin wasn’t one of them

You have no problem in poo pooing this response based on "what you could see" but are happy to let the view that he is a bad egg go without any question? The only issue I have with Austin is the possible allegiance to Clem. He did go round his house after all. His final ever swindon interview wasn't what I would expect from arguably one of our best ever strikers.
We have seen his changing room videos from brisbane so it say he isn't liked by everyone wouldn't be the most outrageous thing to say albeit unsubstantiated.
I thank him for his time, will always look back with positive football memories and we move on as always
