Support is all about quality,  not quantity.

Thank God for that. Whatever league we in, hopefully we can now forget our terrible run by the start of next season.

The Swindon yoof shoegate episode was pretty embrassing though.
I know I'm going to regret asking this, but what happened?

I'm ashamed to say that today was my first game of the season.
I just couldn't face it after the crap of Wembley, and no strikers.

But what a great day out, despite being in the Brentford end! Great result, good performance. Lecs, Dougie and Ritchie were excellent. Hard to criticise anyone. And Smithy didn't have a single shot to save.

Andrew is just the sort of battler we need. Stuck at it the whole game despite their centre half being all over him the whole time. He should have scored in the first half - he had time, space, no pressure, and put it two yards wide from 15 yards out. But what a cracker of a goal, and so unlucky when he hit the bar.

Roll on my second game !!

What happened with the Stewards then?

There were a couple of shoes thrown on the pitch thrown from the crowd, not sure why apparently it's amusing. Anyway one reached the 6 yard box, another failed to reach the playing surface and it appeared that the owner was possibly trying to retrieve it and the stewards steamed in.  Couple of young'uns got hauled off and the usual handbags/goading of the stewards took place for a few moments.

Some clown later decided to thrown a plastic bottle in the direction of the keeper when Sheenan was about to take on the edge of the box.

Samdy has to stay as far away from the games as possible, jjedmunds has to start the matchday threads, and now wokinghamred has to be at all the games.

Three potential candidates for scapegoat status when we lose to Franchise next week then!
