A deal for Ifil has been done and he's off in January, that's why he isn't being played.
I also heard this from someone but didn't really believe it, even though the person who told me was adament it was true, he stated he'd been in talks with Charlton, which sounded very strange to me aswell. Have to wait and see i suppose but I'll be very unhappy if he does go. Thinking about it I don't think Malpas has seen anywhere near the best of Ifill, for me he was the best player during div 2 and for the 1st 6 months season year.

He barely looked like a footballer that game.

how exactly is Malpas butt fucking Aljofree, by playing him?
How dare he pick players. Aljofree is still one of our 2 best centre halves so its hardly Malpas having favourites if he picks him.
Sturrock picked him every week!?
I know we've done the debate millions of times about Aljofree, he commitment, his comments him being captain but when it comes down to it he's a better defender than Kanyuka and Morrison.

Aljofree should definitely be selected when fit. I agree with DV. Aljofree Morrison would be my first choice centre half pairing at this time.

The strange thing is at the beggining of the season we could not decide who was best in defence, due to them all playing well in pre-season, had a job to pick the worse two to leave out, suddenly we had 4 good centre defenders. Now its the complete oppersite which ones the least shit to leave in. They have all made well above there expected number of mistakes which has cost us a lot of goals.
Same with the goalies come to think of it.

When was the last time he played a game? Even a reserve game? Be very surprised if he is in the team tomorrow.
