How good was that.
Brixton was amazing.
Starsailor and James were both very good on Friday night. Brixton Academy is a top venue and an easy bus route home for me too! Bet it was rocking on Saturday!

Bloody brilliant mate. Spent the whole time moshing so am nicely battered and bruised. Was up early Sat for P'boro and bumped into two lads in Carter t-shirts in the pub pre match. But of comeraderie.

Lit on Saturday at the Brooklyn Bowl.... First Band (Hey Vanity) were ok, decent when they played a couple of covers... 2nd band (Army Of Freshmen) were awful, and their singer resembled Dean Gaffney.. Lit, themselves, were decent.. apart from a short power outage, which was amusing.
New Found Glory at Portsmouth Pyramids last night.. Didn't see the first band, second band were called Candy Hearts, they were OK at best... 3rd up were State Champs, they were really really good! So much better than the fourth band that played who were called The Story So Far, I'm not sure if they had a bad day or something, but they were just shite.
New Found Glory though, they were just brilliant.

Story so far are notoriously awful live. Did they say a word to the crowd? They never usually do!

I see Paul Weller is playing Swindon as part of his 'often missed towns' tour. Big name if that's your bag.

Just booked tickets for the Manics doing the Holy Bible in full at Cardiff Castle next summer. That's a very strange juxtaposition of venue and content.
At least Die in the Summertime will be well placed.

I'm seeing them in London on Wednesday, just bought the 20th anniversary release of THB for the missus - it's fucking brilliant. The setlists for the gigs have been quite juxtaposed...

Im doing the last ever show at Earls court tonight. Bombay Bicycle Club. Its being smashed up and replaced by flats afterwards. Im not sure if this is sad or not having never done a show here before. It may be shit.

Doesn't it hold like 20k? I had no idea they'd be a big enough band to hold a gig of that size... having said that, I only heard of them very recently. What kind of music are they? Is it a sell out?

Saw the Who last week in Nottingham,Cast in Hull and off to see Rival Sons at the Leadmill tonight. You can go weeks without seeing any bands and then three in quick succession.

Holds 17.5k. Sold about 16.5. They're an intelligent indie band. They're probably one of the biggest indie bands around at the moment. This sort of shiz
