I am amazed that Top Gear hasn't been mentioned on here?
For me it died a death on Sunday, I thought it was appalling. But thats just my opinion.

I would quite happily punch anyone who has ever been involved with top gear and it's cataclysm of xenophobia, laddish, it's-just-bants, childish, "oooh look at this thing that goes fast", nauseating pseudo pub chat racist sexist bullshit.
Why are people kicking off? Has anything changed or is it just that it's Chris Evans doing it now?

I know, sexism is the worst.
Oh by the way, how are you getting on organising the Euro Stunners? 😄
I didn't actually mind Top Gear but then that's the first time I've watched it for years due to that odious cunt Clarkson.

I watched it last night. I know it's always been scripted but it wasn't a problem before, it was too obvious last night though. It's as though they were trying too hard. Evans wasn't as annoying as I was expecting him to be, but then it seems he was trying to emulate Clarkson rather be himself, which was irritating.
Am I actually saying I would prefer Evans to be himself? I'm confused.
Maybe it'll get better as they settle in? Or maybe not.

Has anyone watched the new Alan Partridge that was on Sky Atlantic the other day? Very enjoyable I thought, particularly him wrapped up in the bubble wrap suit.
I'm making my girlfriend an Alan Partridge themed Cards against Humanity deck so reliving exactly how brilliantly quotable the whole thing is (our onetime rivals over at Northstand Chat have a lengthy thread on the topic)

The missus started watching Hemlock Grove, I've been keeping one eye on it and seems OK.

Versailles last night on BBC2 was a boob fest from the very beginning, generally quite good so we shall see and the Kate Williams thing afterwards was handy to try and identify who people were?

The Alan Shearer Doc about Euro 96 was good. Great memories, good music and the obligatory penalty shoot out heart ache brought back again.

It was amazing. The checkout stuff had me in stitches. I love the idea of a partridge themed CAH, I'm a total partridge nerd. You'll have to share them with me when you're done (if you don't mind) Mine's a pint.

Scissored Isle was very good but it did lack the input of Iannucci.
Good to see John Thomson return to the Partridge universe.
Cheeky monkey...

Same character as Homeland. Is he/isn't he good/bad. It's ok, I'm about 5 in and still with it. I lasted about 25 minutes with Versailles...
