Gillingham FC chairman Paul Scally said the club had paid £10,000 "under duress" towards policing the fixture.

Brilliant news, cheered me up no end after last night. I'm away working all week, staying in Chatham Friday night. Anyone know the area for a decent place to go out?

Caravan World in Chatham is worth a visit. The Medway Museum of Travel is a must, as is Lucky's Garden Centre in Rochester, which stocks over 30 varieties of heather.

Gills fan in peace...
Glad its on, never in doubt really.
Canterbury is a fairly quiet night now, local oldy woldy pubs if thats what you are after.
If you are after something more lively on sat night, i'd go for Maidstone. Gillingham is awful as is Chatham. Rocheester is not much better but it depends what floats your boat!
Hope you enjoy your day out (not too much)& hope its not too wet for you all. Will you sell the 1500 ??

the 1500...i presume is all top tier, or you reckon they'll split the stand in half and give us the right hand side of the stand like normal?

Rochester is really good for going out if you are staying. Any idea on pubs? Last time we played here around 200 town fans met up in Rochester high street before getting the 5 min train trip to Gills land....
