Hmmm   I suppose they had no choice but to 'load' the South West group, but it throws up some real strange ones:

Barnet is the odd one out. AFC Wimbledon are S West London so marginally only marginally S West.

Did anyone watch them today? That Kemar Roofe looks good, took his goal well.

I'm not sure they're one of the best footballing sides in England as that recent Telegraph article implied but they played 'the game' well and by that I mean, going down 'injured' at the right times etc. Nothing wrong with it but it was glaringly obvious throughout.

I used to really 'get' the rivalry, but now I honestly don't give a fuck.

There was a spell in the late 90's/early 00's that we use to play them quite regularly, but that has disapated because we don't play them that frequently. Rivalries will be in 'fashion' based on how frequently we play a team.

must be the glut of local derby matches we have this season dulling the excitement.

People say the same about City not being a "Real" derby and such.  Roll Eyes

Lets be honest, the reason people aren't that 'bothered' is because we haven't beaten them in the four attempts over the last 14 years. Oxford is our biggest rival and as a collective we've got to embrace it, whatever the level and whatever the competition.

I assume a lot of you being based in Swindon and other places that are not Oxfordshire, don't have to deal with Oxford fans on a regular basis.

I was brought up near witney and thus always surrounded by Oxford supporters but was always influenced by family to think of the Bristol clubs as the real rivals

All this feigned disinterest would soon dissisipate if we beat the fuckers.

I'll happily forgive Di Canio his foibles, excentricities and strops but his record against that lot from up the A420 was a disgrace and an embarrassment.  Especially the home defeat.  It's time we put the record straight.
