This always did strike me as a strange method of payment. Next time I want to buy a sandwich at lunchtime, I'm going to offer to pay the nice lady who serves me in sweat - as an alternative to Sterling. And then proceed to run on the spot in a vigorous fashion to produce payment.
If it's good enough for Lydia Grant...

why the knight hatred? is it because he was a pain in the arse when he played against us?
I've always had the impression that it's because he's widely perceived as a bit of a scrote, a kind of lower league answer to Ashley Cole in the "typifies all that is wrong with the modern footballer" slot

Great. Now I have a mental image of you in legwarmers and leotard which I'm going to be stuck with all day. Thanks for that.
Er, Glad to be of service ? In any case, I'm still looking for my dancer's 'belt'

In particular, I think it's to do the way he played to the ref during the home leg of the play off semi in 2004.

There was the celebration infront of the town end and that horrible tackle on David Duke in the play offs.
He was having a stormer in centre mid as well.

If he really had wanted to play in England he'd have given the money back or negotiated a sign on fee to give straight to Rushden in return for his registration.

Not sure it's any worse than the way you lot are (still) going on about it. I mean, who gives a fuck?
