Id say Paul Allen as well ... I used to watch in the Nationwide corner at that time and he had a good rapport with the noisy support in that corner .. always celebrated down there when he scored a goal ..

which was how often Fats?!

I think he meant, 'how many times did Paul Allen score'. Meaning he didn't score many goals. Not, 'how many games did you go to'.

I think Fallon was a bit of a cult hero you know....probably could have been a bona fide hero you know, had he stayed longer you know and carried on scoring you know....but that goal v Shitty you know...others like Luton away you know and the Shef Weds game.

Then getting sent off on full debut v Rushden you know and then scoring when bundling Hunter you know and ball into the goal in the home game you know......then turning up at the CG you know playing crap for Yeovil reserves you know.....plus numerous other things puts him into cult status you know.

My favourite story about the big Kiwi was from last season.  He was suspended, yet came out on the lap of honour at the last game.  He proceeded to throw his STFC jacket into the crowd (he missed first time).  The dopey fool had forgotten that it contained his cheque book and a payslip.  The young lad who caught the jacket had to spend an hour waiting around to give it back after the game... by all accounts, he's a bit simple.

"Paul really knew how to get the crowd going, and was a real favourite. Scored a couple of great goals for Swindon, including a storming run versus Cambridge in the FA Cup. Was part of the Second Division Championship winning squad." from www.swindon-town-fc.co.uk/

2 goals apparently!  :-))(

I think he used to always acknowledge that part of the stand .. whenever ANYONE scored ... as if he had scored it .. thats why i was confused .. i think!!!

THinking back my personal Cult hero is Dave Bendy Legs Bamber .. what a class act .. i loved his way of getting penalties .. it was like a tree being felled ... half expected someone to shout out "TIMBERRRRRRRRRRRRRR"

Yes, but you have to be anout 10% crap and 90% good to be a cult hero (or maybe 20/80). Fraser was 100% good so he's just a hero. Not a cult hero.  I think.

I'm confused.

But he's a bonafide (hehehe) Swindon Town legend and therefore not a Cult Hero - My interpretation is different the Football Focus version which saw alot of BEST players win like our very own Don Rogers.

If Shakes makes the WC along with his name and if he stays next season then he could find himself a cult figure to Swindon fans.
