....in line with the new year's resolution to eat more kebabs and try different varieties,  I can report on the Iskender.

This is essentially a large doner but rather than the salad packing the pitta, that is filled with  yogurt and a specially cooked up sauce.

Salad then comes in a side container and an option of a small tub of chilli sauce which is good for dunking chips.

Very tasty sauce......and the bit of chill, should make the Budvar slip down shortly Beers

Unfortunately I'm usually too drunk to remember what they're called, but I will definitely ask when I'm sober next time Yes

That's made my mouth water...

I'm going to have a filthy big kebab tomorrow even if it kills me, which it probably will do on the Sunday.

Does the Yogurt and fat off the Donner not curdle a bit Reg?

To quote Mike Skinner on kebabs...
"Shit in a tray merchants..."

Never a truer word said! Curry after beer... every time. Cool

I got a takeaway from some place called "Ace Curries" in Old Town.
We had one of those fucking leaflets through the door.
Every fucking day we get a plethora of take-away menu's, mostly new Pizza places. Herbies, Pizza-go-go, Samo's, etc, etc...

I got a Lamb Saag which was pretty naff, and the wife got a fuck off great big pizza which was disgusting.

Where do you think is the best indian take-away in central Swindon?

I need to explore new curry avenues.....

curry cottage in rodbourne is the dogs for take away or delivery.if eating out i like curry garden.
i tried spicy bites and thought it was shit, bland and tasteless.(was about a year ago though)
