The factor his height seemed to play was ensuring he fell arse over tit every time he jumped in the air to attempt to win a header!

I'd agree too.  Curo has plenty left in him yet and peacock looked sharp.

If there are ppl without faith then I'd like to hear what the alternatives are!

I agree with you spuddy. Peacock and curo are two very experienced players.
Could well be the next mooney/parkin strikeforce you never know....

i'd much rather have seen cureton and peacock up front anyway, so this is quite good in a way.

we'll miss fallon's goals a little but i can honestly see peacock banging them in for us and cureton's got a proven record in league one this season, the goal at the weekend will have given him the confidence to continue in the same vein of form. hopefully.

football is all about if's and but's though.

I hope they score goals, I really do....sadly that doesnt mean they will.

No one knows for sure.

Would any of you predicted Fallon to have 14 by January in the summer?

£300,000 for Fallon   I thought Christmas was over! Fallon has been a lazy bastard recently and while I'm happy with the goals he has delivered I reckon Peacock, Cureton and and detoxed Taffy will provide enough to compensate. £300K fecking welsh twats, he's a donkey!

Exactly DV.  There is every chance that Rory could well have just stopped scoring goals, just as easily as he could have continued scoring them.  We've seen how bad he can be, and you just never know if he qould have reverted back to that once a bit of form or confidence was lost.  The first 75 mins or so on Saturday was the old Rory Fallon for me.  Lots of bad control, running around into other players spaces or just standing still.  The risk was always there that he might just have stopped at 14 for the season.

rory scoring 14 this season is unbelieveable. he will move to swansea, not play and probably wont do anything as swansea probably don't hoof it to there strikers.

I bet Shakes is pretty pissed off now though........just as he begins to start puttin in some really good crosses, the only attackin player who can head the ball in our team, is leavin!!
I dont know what Peacock is like at headin to be honest, but Curo cant....
