Sounds promising on paper, but then football isn't played on paper.

It would seem he's a LEFT winger  an old report from the Brighton Anus. Jarrett told to grab chance From the archive, first published Friday 15th Jul 2005.
Albert Jarrett has given himself a chance of making an impact in his "make or break" season with Albion.
Boss Mark McGhee admits he has been impressed by Jarrett's willingness to bounce back from a disappointing debut campaign with the club.
The 20-year-old Londoner has been lively on the left in Albion's first two pre-season outings and will hope to get another chance to impress as the Seagulls visit St Albans tonight.
McGhee admitted at the end of last season that the 2005-06 campaign would be make-or-break time for the player he loaned out to Stevenage Borough.
Now Jarrett, signed from Franchise just over a year ago, could get another Championship chance after the departures of Dan Harding and Nathan Jones, which leave Kerry Mayo concentrating on left back.
McGhee said: "Obviously Albert plays in front of where Dan played and we've still got Kerry Mayo to come back.
"But Albert has got the ability. We know he can cross a ball, we know he can get past people.
"There are other aspects of his game that we need to improve for him to be able to play in the first team and win us games in the Championship.
"But he's definitely come on from last season. His attitude is spot on and he has given himself a chance."

Fucking hell... our worst winger is the Ricky Ricky Shakes! Why get in a left winger??
I must admit, some of Iffy's targets have puzzled me.

Why only a month loan. Can we extend it because if not why bother?

his career stats don't look too inspiring. can't see the point in another left winger when we're just getting nicolau back anyway. agree about the right winger. i'd have had igoe back in a second but he's buggered off to bristol, hasn't he http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=35917

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/players/stats?id=34555&cc=5739He's got 2 assists from 9 starts this season in the championship and has worse stats for previous seasons. Doesn't fill me with the greatest of confidence. Perhaps the short term loan is like a trial period which could see it extended.
