I asked about this on the fannyforum about 4 years ago.
From what I remember they did exist, and were from a certain part of Swindon, I can't remember where though.

We had a few firms in the 70s/ 80's notably, STAB and SSF.....I couldn't in all honesty lay claim to knowing anything much of the Gusset Hunters...

Nah, I was browsing all the firms sites. And most said Swindon are all pusseys apart form their group in the early 80's called Gusset Hunters.
