The new season has begun!
First league game will be on Sunday 14th January. Matches are played twice a week on Thursday and Sunday at 6pm UK time (the site is one hour ahead!).
This gives everyone an opportunity to sort out their teams, get to grips with the game and if they want, arrange a friendly for Thursday - you can do this by going to a team and clicking on the 'challenge team' button to ask for a friendly.
The rules section gives you an idea about tactics and a lot of other tips

Only two up and down. :x We had enough for three leagues or at least three up and down.
Some teams will be playing for nothing half way through the season. Especially the bottom half of Division one.

Ah but I do that and I upset other people who got promo and will no longer get it if I change it to 3 divisions. That happened before (and it's out of my control I can't decide who's in what league). Problem with 3 up/3 down is that people will be less able to challenge the 'big 2', which others have compained about before. If people are able to have seasons of consolidation then it will make for better competition in the long run. I think the main problem is people dropping out. If people actually don't drop out I will change it to a 3 up/3down system. There's already one team without a manger in our league. |
