I still don't understand why it is being played in Geneva? Even England v Germany isn't played there!

Wayne Bridge has been appauling for me. He's constantly out of position and was directly responsible for both their goal.
I can't understand how someone who has played so little 1st team football can be picked to start an international game like this. I agree, I felt sorry for him though, he's been out so long and hasn't got enough big match experience behind him since he's come back to prepare him for this match.

It's a friendly. He's our only decent left sided defender available. I have no beef for sven picking him

what a bollocks game this is!stopped watching it as ive fallen asleep twice!! :boring: :shake: Are you having a fucking laugh? ?!!!! Were you even watching? Come on admit it, you didn't watch did you? That was the best friendly I've ever seen ever! Fucking incredible game! Of course 2-1 down, bring on Crouchy and win 3-2! Crouch set up that shot for Rooney and caused massive problems for Argentina whoich certainly helped England score both goals. Fucking great footballing weekend. Swindon beat city and England beat the argies.

Crouch is quite clearly the best player in the world.
He just tore apart Argentina all on his own

The rugby was much more exciting. Not being a natural rugby fan that says alot I'd stick with the egg chasing in the future. The way the Crouchmeister, propelled Owen into the ball, was top quality.

That was the best game of football I've seen in ages - loads of chances with end to end football.
