Well obviously if they have 10 and 9 ratings a lot you gotta give them the full credit, but it rarely happens when you get a few seasons in because the AI works you out a bit better than before. In my experience anyway.

I'm currently top after picking up where I left off. Played 6, won 6

Played 17 won 17 scored 49 and conceded 6

Royce Brownlie is a goal machine   18 goals in 17 games

Ifil is wanted by half the premiership and I get journalists asking me every week whether I can keep hold of him

Also I tend to encourage the team at half time and then say well done for their efforts at full time, even if they lose (unless it's 5-0 and they get 5-6 for ratings).

Seems to do the trick and they play better. If you say fantastic too much they get lazy

hmm, i do the opposite.

half-time i tell them not to let performance drop or tell them i'm disappointed if we're losing our drawing, then at full-time it'll be either angry/disappointed depending on severity of loss, perform like this every week for a win or sensational for a thumping win.

i'll try and change my tact and will bear the friendly thing in mind for future.

I usually...sympathise or encourage at half time....

I never tell them they are playing well, so they dont get complacent.

I praise that at full time and tell them they have done well...unless they've played really well then i tell them so

Around march time they all seem to think i dont give them enough credit

had left my training on preseason for the first month by accident, didn't bode well. had a tinker and the spurs are back on form with berbatov banging them in again. re-signing robbie keane was a good move and vanden borre has shored up my defensive cover nicely.
