I'll be at the game saturday....if I remember and dont play pro evo/fm solidly for two months.....again  It's alright for you, you can go home after and play to your heart's content! I'm stuck at my girlfriend's till Tuesday, and I'll probably not get a chance. I'm taking my laptop just in case though...

Like I said Reg .. the first game you mentioned was in 1975 and the other was the one time we played them since .. (20 years ago!) Last time we beat was AT HOME was in 1970 - but that was in the cup 3-1 .. Our last win over Scunthorpe at home in the league was actually in 1967 - 2-0 .. both of those were before I was born. It matters not .. we simply havent played them often enough for these to be significant .. but itll be nice to say (if we beat them!) thats our first home league victory over Scunthorpe for 38 years!

Fuck me and here was me thinking it was 1983....still time is a funny old thing so I suppose its entirely feasible that I lost 8 years of my life somewhere and Paul Rideout was in fact only 9 when he scored his 11th of the season. It kinda matters to me as I was at all those games, and even back to the opener of the 63/64 season when we beat them 3-0 in front of 18000. In fact Scunny have never won at the CG I fully expect that to change on Sat.

I got a feeling, could be wrong that Cassidy left Scunny for the scum, as I seem to recall him playing when they beat us in the LC of about 70. I was in the London Road when they scored which made it doubly sickening..it was either Cassidy or Sloan who scored....looking at TIU the other day apparently he runs a pub in Wadebridge....Cornwall.

I hope Blackburn put at least three past the brum - I'd like to see Kuqi's swallow dive again.
