No complaints about that. The more publicity we get the better.
Mind you, given our current position maybe no news would be better!

I'm am 45 mins away from swindon and 45 mins away from bristol so its definately west county. Likewise as I'm Westbury too. I don't get it... We've always been regarded the small team from the westcountry until quite recently... I certainly know a few Bristol City fans who refuse to acknowledge Swindon as a Westcountry team... Some call us "Thames Valley" Anywho as far as I'm concerned Wiltshire is in the Westcountry... Swindon is in Wiltshire... Therefore....

I remember nothing about Perrot's Brook apart from the fact we had a massive house there. My dad fell off a ladder painting it one day!

My parents are from London and Bristol/Australia, though spent several years living in Bangladesh. I don't really think of myself as westcountry though I suppose Swindon is a bit.

IMO Old Swindon people are West Country, railwaymen etc, but the influx of london overspill following WWII gave many people the impression we were South East (ie to many Mockneys), I was born in Swindon and lived in Wroughton and then Old Town until i went to uni in Birmingham, now I'm back home and beginning the search for a career job.

Swindon and Wiltshire lie within John Prescotts South West Region for regional government purposes, along with Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, and BANES.
I guess this makes it the Westcountry. This could cause me a problem as I don't really like cider.
