http://img68.echo.cx/my.php?image=bogo0oo.jpgThe fan at the front of this is attending a Colombian "soccer" match, supporting his team. He has been beaten and now stabbed to death because the colour of his rucksack was the same colour of their rival team. How crazy!

That lion is well out of order. Doesn't matter what football team the bloke supported, mauling him is uncalled for.

I was there too, sitting in the pub, and saw poor Mark Smith get his head kicked as he lay in the road. But he got up, and even went to the match, and didn't die until after the game. Later I rued not following the bloke who kicked him so that I could identify him, but Mark got to his feet and I got back to my pint. My everlasting shame. I was a (useless) witness at the trial, when a whole bunch of thugs got off.

Random bump ?! But you are applying hindsight to something you knew was serious but not life threatening. Not your fault. Easy for me to say, I can only imagine how you feel.

I lived in Plymouth at the time and the whole city was in uproar about it ( naturally ). Because I went to one of the grammar schools in the area there were other lads from across the city and word went around about 'a lad from Swindon that goes to Devonport High School'. I finished school one day to walk out and find about 30 thugs hanging around 'looking for the Swindon cunt so that we can even the score'. Not ashamed to say that I kept my head down, turned a corner and then ran faster than Usain Bolt could ever dream of. Their numbers dwindled over the next few days and by the end of the following week they had moved on to something else so it all went back to normal. Scary times though - especially as I was only 12 at the time.
