Thanks a lot Chris - much appreciated!  Where do you find these links out of interest?!  They're an absolute godsend!

Sounds ominous that the commentators are talking about King losing his job already.  Down to 10 men against a tough place, things going against us, what a fucking joke.

Gurney is a cunt. He should never have come back. We all know about his disiplinary record.

Will that be a two or three match ban for Gurney?

Why is Smith the captain now, he's played less than 10 games for us. What about Stef? Fallon?

I think Jenkins is captain - I agree Smith would be a dubious choice.  What did Hadwin make of the foul?  Was it a penalty?  A sending off?

Both Ed and Nick said it was a dreadful decision.

Sounded extremely harsh though.

This is from a Bournemouth fan

Quote
The FA have annouced that Barry Knight is going to be the referee. The official from Kent is officially known as 'Bournemouths most hated referee' after his diabolical decisions in matches up and down the country.

Knight officiated us on 16/9/95 when we lost 4-0 at home to Crewe. Knight reduced us to 9 men, awarded an extremely dodgy penalty, gave a free kick to Crewe despite the offside flag being up a long time in advanced, and also failed to notice a Crewe player catching the ball on the line, and throwing it in. He turned around laughing, expecting the free kick to be given - Knight bewildered everyone by awarding a goal. Many Bournemouth fans have said it's the only time they've felt a referee has purposely cheated them, and took their anger out on Knights car after the match. The referee had to be escorted out of the car park by police, as fans had waited for over an hour after the match to tell Knight what they thought of his performance. One fan didn't tell him, he showed him by kicking his car door - later being arrested.

Then boss Mel Machin wasn't shy about telling Knight what he thought. His quote being "If we were in South America, he'd have been shot before half time".

After the official spent a long time away from Dean Court, it was rumoured Dorset police said they couldn't ensure his safety. Bournemouth fans certainly never forget, as our league match away at Torquay in 2002 also had the Knightster refereeing. Knight came under some sledging from travelling supporters (including my good self biggrin.gif) with chants like 'Barry Knight is a blanker'. Knight caused controversy in that match when there was a 5 minute break in play because he wasn't satisfied a corner flag was in the ground correctly. Coincedently...we lost that match 4-0 too!

Bournemouth fans are certainly not happy about Knights appointment for the match this Saturday, and are sure to give him a right sledging.

Sounds like Knight is rectifying himself but screwing us over.

Maybe a little harsh, but if Gurney was tugging Keene back from behind in the area and was the last man as it appears, a penalty is possible. That's Gurney's second penalty, Captain Thug has done it again.  Crying

Yep for being a moron.  But, you've got to lay some of the blame at the feet of the man who bought him back.
