Similar to last weekend, soon as it was a 1 goal gap we completely stopped playing.

Phew! Good job Oldham were poor when they had the ball.

That was harder than it should have been.

Some good, but some worrying signs there.

FT 2-1

Good win against a poor side.

But they all count.

Oldham may have been poor

But 2nd half we were below awful and they looked much better

Pretty hard to judge when the ball seemed to be in the air 80% of the game!

2 league games in a row we've held on and done it pretty well. That'll build confidence - we saw some real signs in the first half that there's a good football team there. Just need the consistency across 90 mins. Delighted with the 3 points!

Didn’t think we really looked like conceding once the subs were made. Good away win.

Why did Wright just do that. We’ve lost all composure.

I assumed it was to stop the Oldham player taking a quick throw in whilst Wright was so far out of position (and assuming he was the man marking the giant forward)

Surprised we hung onto that because, well that’s not the Swindon way ya know…

Bristol Rovers 0 wins from 3 games (0 wins in 4 in total) and -4 goal difference.

You gotta laugh.

We were electric for the first 30 mins.

Had to grind after that.

Princewell showed flashes but ultimately tired. Barely saw him second half - so maybe he’s not on his way back in January!

Probably but throwing a player into the advertising boards for no reason is just asking for trouble, only requires one jobsworth to take a dim view of it.

That's a decent win. Especially for a side with allegedly no midfield, shaky defence and a dodgy keeper. Oldham came at us,sure, but  they were 1 down,at home that has to be expected and to be honest, did they ever look like scoring? We,on the other hand had several good chances. For me,standout player was Oldaker, brilliant defensively and creative with plenty of astute passes. Wright,Ball and Munro restricted Latics to pretty much zero chances and pretty impressed with McGregor and Butterworth who both gave us fresh impetus. Add to that, a goal that will not be bettered in it's construction in L2 this season. Happy with that, knowing where we are

Yeah, that was what I assumed (Wright), really enjoyed the away comms getting more and more unhinged in their assessment as the game went on.

Apparently the refereeing was worse than anything they saw all of last season. Didn’t think there was anything that contentious?!
