Minturn due to injuries & being here as a squad player has missed out on vital development imo.
He needed a loan to the level below ours about 2-3 years ago. Like we did with Scott Twine - playing every week the level below did more for his development than sitting on our bench & making 5 minutes cameos would have done.
It’s probably last saloon for Minturn. He needs a national league loan where he’s going to play every week…

In my 50 years of following Swindon I have never known a player to get sent off in a pre season friendly for us. I know Fil loves a tackle but to go in rough in a pre season game is uncalled for, yes we know you are pushing for a starting slot but thats not the way to go about it. |

That is indeed the "normal practice" it seems like the ref never gave Ollie the chance of that though which upset Ollie. |
