That would make sense as Joe mentioned the other day his request to attend was refused by the club.

Probably been told not to

Who were Trialists A through C for the first hour?  Cerny Ando and Scott Sinclair were presumably two of them.  For the second hour, even without Smudger, the line-up had more experience than for the first hour.  An obvious question is what is the plan without Smudger?  Who goes up top?

According to the Moonraker, Sinclair wasn't involved in the Reading game

Raheem Conte was one of them

On to Chippenham on Saturday then for the next episode.

They are on the back of 2 home defeats 1-2 vs Bristol Rovers and a 2-3 to Yeovil, they had 1,465 crowd vs Rovers and 800+ vs Yeovil, hopefully we will take as many as Rovers did and help put some money back into lower league local football teams.

Another step up in opposition quality after Supermarine and Melksham. Hopefully we will have a couple of trialists get some game time to see if they are good enough.
