Perfection is not attainable

I avoid speculating when ever I can.  But I'll break my rule this time.

It feels as if no-one is really in charge.  Each part of the Club ploughs on doing what they do until there's a genuine stick in the spokes that forces someone to react.
Reaction rather than prevention.

Yeah if we need cash desperately there are clear assets available to sell.

Possibly because that would then spark a reaction from Holloway, who is the only thing keeping some fans from turning on them.

The reason they have more season ticket holders than last season.

They don't deserve them.

From what information I do have, which is nearly always second hand of course, I am not sure you are a million miles away on having a finger on the pulse of the club.

I was told (also second hand) that basically Clem makes pretty much all the decisions, everyone else (the team aside) just waits for Clem to do so.

He's also come from the building trade, it's one of those businesses that tend to wait until the last possible minute to pay up, so its not a surprise that they keep people waiting.

Neither has the squad been cut.  We've had our most stable summer in years.

Baffling.

I think he still has to answer to a few people It's as if he makes the decision at club level then others swoop in and tell him otherwise.

Not sure how true as rumours always fly about but i was told recently he is now under pressure to sell from those same people so maybe that explains the lack of movement on stadium

The start of a £1m redevelopment project must be made by march 2026.

What the finer details of a 'start' are I don't know. One for Bennett

I’m not convinced he’s ever had any intention of actually doing the work. He probably just thought if he got it approved he could justify or up the price to potential buyers. Purely a balance sheet exercise.

I still find it utterly unfathomable that there are so many people who put the blame for the clubs bad performances on the people who protest, rather than seeing the real root of the problems. You simply cannot reason with such people as they don't want to listen to a valid discussion. How such people get through life it a mystery.

I cannot believe that they were so taken by his pint pulling, bucket hat wearing act that this overrules everything that has happened during his time here. How can you shut your eyes to so much counter evidence?

I briefly talked to one of the Sheffield Wednesday protest group last season (via twitter). They received similar resistance to protest, think they said they were even spat at on one occasion.

Some people won't believe it can happen until it happens - just like it is at Wednesday now.

Best to accept it it's what it is and move on I think.
