Someone probably looked for anyway it was like anything we've previously had. Bit like when they tried to claim a kit was a nod to our premier league season and it had a black fucking trim and no collar.

In fairness - it did have the swirl pattern which was extremely similar & something we’ve never had on a kit in between those two…

The swirl pattern was identical to the Prem kit which made it all the more puzzling why they didn't finish it off with white trim/button up collar etc and went with black instead. Didn't like that kit at all...

I concur & said as much at the time.

I liked the shirt. Probably the best home one we’ve had in the last 25 years - even with the black.
