Cheers! Although 6th-9th May does risk missing our playoff semi final as the final game of the season is May 3rd.

Just had an email from Lufthansa offering the opportunity to ‘make an offer’ for an upgrade on our LHR-FRA flight, nothing on the FRA-CPT leg.

Has anyone had this before, I haven’t but was wondering how this actually works. I don’t honestly think for 1hr 35m it’s worth it. The 2nd leg I might consider if there is an opportunity but I won’t know until we get to check-in at LHR or on arrival at FRA.

Upgrade to Business? Probably not worth it for that length of flight

Yeah, certainly the first leg. I’ll ask at check in and see what they say.

Business in Europe didn't used to be all that. A bigger seat at the front and an orange juice before takeoff

Not that I've don't it much or recently.

It did however afford access to the business lounge in schiphol 🍺🍻🍺

Definitely wouldn't pay it out my own pocket.

Now intentional flights across the pond with flat beds, only done once on a free upgrade, could never justify the cost, but the difference getting off that plane was amazing
