McGoldrick looks like a pro playing Sunday league for a laugh.

Ah well. They look a class above compared to what we’ve faced in recent weeks

Write this one off.
TBH I wrote this one off before the game kicked off, we have done better than I thought so far but McGoldrick is the best striker in the division by a country mile.

Yup, just that simple. Not a lack of effort or disastrous tactics, they're just better.

Always going to be that outcome when someone with 5 league games comes up against a player with 620 games behind him.

Notts have a different style of play (passing the ball) that will always make it look like they have more control. However we have been in a number of dangerous positions but have lacked the quality to make them count.

Massive shame really as I genuinely think with Smith we’d have caused them quite a few problems

Exactly, we havent played badly we just dont have the quality they have. Its easy to blame Kirkman or Barden but we just literally arent at their level and McGoldrick is easily a division better in quality than any of our players.

First half largely as feared. They're just better than a tired, depleted Town side.

Kirkman really struggling against McGoldrick but many better CBs will.

Well, that was a lesson.

We now look tired and well beaten.

Shame, as there was lots of effort and endeavour.
